Block 6

Built as a case study for the City of Boulder’s Green Points program, these modern urban townhomes combine high performance, energy efficient building systems with a minimalist material palette that allows the geometry of the building to unfold. As with many of the homes built in the Holiday neighborhood in Boulder, Block 6 includes residences available through the affordable housing program. A paramount goal achieved through thoughtful planning and detailing was to integrate those homes into the overall design such that one cannot discern the market rate homes from the homes within the affordable program.

Note: I began this project while at Barrett Studio in Boulder and have completed the project through George Watt Architecture.
